“Melvin J Blanc” gained international recognition for his contributions to the Golden Age of American Animation by providing the voices

For iconic characters such as “ Bugs Bunny” “Daffy Duck” “Tweety” Sylvester the Cat… Yosemite Sam….Foghorn Leghorn…….the Tasmanian Devil…… and many others including from the “Looney Tunes” and “Merrie Melodies” theatrical cartoons….

Blanc also took over the roles of Porky Pig and Elmer Fudd from their original voice actors Joe Dougherty and Arthur Q. Bryan, respectively.

Additionally, he lent his voice to characters in various Hanna-Barbera television cartoons, including Barney Rubble and Dino in The Flintstones, Mr. Spacely in The Jetsons Secret Squirrel in The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show, Speed Buggy, and Captain Caveman in Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels and The Flintstone Kids…….
